the girl & the fig CATERS! in Sonoma is seeking an Event Sales Coordinator to join our team.
This position provides support to our events team and assists with various tasks related to both on and off-site events. Typical duties include: communication with clients, creating and revising proposals, conducting site visits, and coordinating menu tastings.
We are looking for energetic, positive individuals who can provide consistent, friendly, and responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests. Successful candidates will be professional, detail-oriented, organized, and possess exceptional customer service skills with the ability to multi-task efficiently.
*Ability to provide or complete CA Food Handler Certification and renew as necessary.
*Must have a valid CA Driver’s License and clean driving record.
*Must have close attention to detail, accuracy with numbers, organization, and the ability to multi-task.
*Must have a high degree of computer competency and a fundamental understanding and ability to work with Microsoft Word and Excel.
*Must be able to correspond professionally with guests both verbally and in writing.
*Requires extensive knowledge of or the ability to learn the girl & the fig, LLC’s philosophy on wine, food and service.
This is a full-time, hourly position. Benefits available after successful completion of an introductory period: Medical, Dental, Vision, Dining, Sick Time. Competitive hourly wage is DOE.
